No trimming is normally required for M-06 and M-06 PRO chassis. The holder is pre-shaped but small adjustments may be needed for aftermarket battery straps.

Because the plate is thin and light it has minimal effect on centre of gravity. The main benefit is improved rigidity which can stabilise handling slightly.

What hardware is recommended for mounting?

Use the original M-06 battery screws where possible. If replacing hardware, M3 countersunk screws and small nylon washers work well to prevent damage to the fibre.
