Durable Front Mount for TT-02 Type-S

The Tamiya 54636 TT-02 TYPE-S Steel Suspension Mount replaces the flexible plastic part with steel to improve strength and give a more predictable steering feel. It is compatible with rebound stopper upgrades such as Item 54638 for better rebound management.

Installation Guide

On the TT-02 Type-S this mount installs in place of the original front mount and uses the chassis mounting points. For non Type-S TT-02 variants you will need reversible arms, damper stay Item 54632, and compatible oil dampers like Item 42102 to fit this component.

Pairing with Rebound Stoppers

Combine this steel mount with the Tamiya 54638 Steel Rebound Stopper to control front rebound and reduce instability under heavy braking. Small setup changes to shocks and toe will help you find the right balance.
