Balance and ballast for serious setups using Tamiya 54937

The Tamiya 54937 Brass Adjustable Suspension Mount brings extra mass and mounting options to TRF420, TRF419, TA07 and TB-05 chassis. Compared with aluminium parts, the brass version helps keep the car steadier through high speed sections.

25 offset choices using the supplied bushings

Included is a bushing sprue with seven pairs of bushings, allowing 25 shaft offset positions. These choices let you tune between C and G offsets to match grip levels and handling preferences on different track surfaces.

Made for major Tamiya touring car frames

This mount fits TRF420, TRF419, TA07 and TB-05 platforms, letting you try different toe and suspension geometries without welding or heavy modification, so you can focus on setup changes and lap consistency.

Brass increases traction and reduces twitchiness, which can raise cornering confidence and allow higher exit speeds, though initial turn-in may feel less sharp.
Yes, swapping mounts is a straightforward hardware change. Keep the original mount and bushings to revert if you prefer the lighter setup later.
Circuits with fast sweepers or low-grip surfaces often see the biggest gains from added ballast and fine offset tuning. Short tight tracks may not benefit as much.
