It has been a long time in coming, but Tamiya has heard the need from fans around the world and is now proud to present award-winning truck maker Scania's state-of-the-art R470 Highline since the newest addition to our unique 1/14 scale R/C tractor vehicle show.

About the Scania R470 Highline
Swedish manufacturer Scania has a lengthy history of producing exemplary trucks designed for long-haul transportation. The organization's R-series made its debut in 2004 and quickly built a very favorable reputation that led to it being provided the prestigious Overseas Truck of the Year prize in 2005.

Towards Model:

• 1/14 scale electric R/C assembly kit of the Scania R470 Highline.
  Aerodynamic human anatomy is precisely reproduced and front grill features mesh material for realistic appearance.
  
• Faithfully reproduced cabin tilts forward individually from fenders, just like regarding the full-size truck. Fender interiors and exteriors are completely depicted for the ultimate in accuracy and realism.
  
• Durable ladder framework chassis is comprised of aluminum channel and resin cross member.
  
• Kit-included coupler enables use of any of Tamiya's currently available 1/14 scale trailers.
  
• Includes installation type 3-speed transmission. Usage of separately available 4-channel transmitter permits gear moving during operating.
  
• Front and rear suspension consist of metal leaf springs and coil spring dampers. Durable die-cast steel front side axle is float installed on leaf spring and damper. Resin rear axle features differential gear.
  
• Propeller shaft transmits power from front mounted motor to rear wheels. Pin type propeller shaft joint decreases friction loss.
  
• Type 540 motor included.
  
• Separately calls for battery, charger, and transmitter (4-channel transmitter recommended).
