For the 2004 season, reigning JGTC champions, Xanavi Nismo, replaced their long-serving Skyline GT-R utilizing the newly designed Nissan Z. In comparison with the 2003 GT-R, the 2004 Xanavi Nismo features a better framework design, a lesser center of gravity, wider tread, more solid human anatomy and better front/rear weight distribution. Returning from 9th position to take out a thrilling victory in the 1st battle associated with 2004 season the Xanavi Nismo Z has since scored top-3 finishes in Round 3 and Round 5 to sit in 2nd invest the Drivers Championship, just 1 point from the lead.
