Retro Looks With Off-Road Capability

The Tamiya 58568-60A Neo Scorcher carries classic Terra Scorcher cues onto the TT-02B chassis. The styling is nostalgic while the chassis updates make the model more capable for rough-surface use.

Off-Road Chassis Enhancements

The TT-02B platform is a tuned form of the TT-02, designed for off-road conditions. It uses extended suspension arms and CVA shock units to improve stability across uneven terrain. The supplied buggy bumpers increase survivability in contact situations.

Layout and Included Motor

Fitted with a 540 RS Torque Tuned Motor, the Neo Scorcher gives reliable brushed motor output from the start. The longitudinal battery placement and flat R/C gear layout contribute to a lower center of gravity for controlled handling. A sealed receiver box reduces exposure to dust and sand.

Ship by HK POST via Speedpost always late. Speedpost can hold on to the items for days before send out. Always need to call in to complain then manage to get it. Disappointed with our local Speedpost service. FedEx service is super fast n excellent.
Basic RC tools such as hex drivers, needle nose pliers and a hobby knife are sufficient. A thread locker and grease are useful for long term reliability.
Yes, the TT-02B chassis accepts a range of motor and ESC combos, but check pinion and spur compatibility and cooling needs when switching to higher power setups.
The polycarbonate body is resilient and the buggy bumpers help absorb impacts, but severe crashes can still damage mounts and suspension parts which should be inspected after each session.
The receiver compartment is sealed to reduce dirt ingress, but additional tape or moisture barriers can be used for extra protection in dusty or sandy conditions.
Inspect suspension mounting points, verify shock oil levels, ensure the drivetrain spins freely and check servo and receiver mounting before each outing to avoid failures on track.
