This new LaFerrari R/C car is equipped in the new Tamiya TB-04 chassis platform. The TB-04 is a 1/10 scale 4WD device that includes a drive-shaft down the middle of the framework to activate the front and back gearboxes. The differentials inside the gearboxes are newly created while they use a sealed gear differential system whereby the interior gears motion is managed by various viscosity differential fluids. The double-wishbone suspension system system makes use of exactly the same "quick reversible" type which has been used on the TB-03, TA-05 Version II, TA-06 together with TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) 416 and 417 World Championship devices. The TB-04 also contains "IFS" (inboard front suspension system) whereby leading shocks are situated horizontally and low towards chassis, so that low profile sports vehicle human anatomy shapes are accurately reproduced without losing any practical scale appearance such as the LaFerrari.
Item Notice
The TB-04 instruction manual is revised to handle an issue aided by the positioning of this main prop shaft toward backside gear field. By after the installation procedure into the addendum the alignment issue is relieved. Note: the automobile must be driven to seat most of the moving components for optimum efficiency. The amended actions in addendum affect actions 3-8 in both the TB-04 professional kit and standard TB-04 chassis.
