Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune Background

The Tamiya 58605-60A reproduces the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune in 1/10 scale, featuring a precisely moulded polycarbonate body that shows the car's muscular lines. The model mirrors the Z-Tune's wide bodywork, bold front end and vented bonnet to capture the original car's character.

Drift Performance on the TT-02D Platform

Tailored for drift driving, the TT-02D chassis is fitted with drift-specific items such as 24mm tyre widths on matte metal-plated wheels and CVA shocks to help control slides on smooth tracks. The chassis keeps TT-02 traits for stable handling and easy upgrades; full ball bearings, an aluminium motor heat sink and a sport-tuned 540 brushed motor back up reliable running during practice and club events.

The Tamiya 58605-60A Nismo R34 GT-R Z-Tune TT-02D Drift Kit is aimed at hobbyists who want a realistic scale shell and a chassis that responds well to tuning. It makes for a satisfying build and a dependable platform for drift practice.

Basic modelling tools like side cutters, a hobby knife, small screwdrivers and masking tape for painting the body are all you need to assemble the kit properly.
An ESC is not included with the kit, so choose an ESC that matches your motor and battery selection when completing the electronics fit-out.
Yes, on smooth sealed surfaces this kit performs well for casual drifting, though dedicated drift pads and flat car parks will deliver the most consistent results.
Common upgrades include higher quality bearings, adjustable shocks, different tyre compounds and wheel offsets to refine slip and steering response.
