Tamiya 1/72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Fighter Model 32 (Hamp) #60784  [60784]

• The 1/72 scale Warbirds Collection welcomes the A6M3 Zero fighter Model 32, that has been codenamed
  "Hamp" by American forces. The Model 32 was an evolution of this Model 21; it received a greater Sakae 21 motor and faster, redesigned primary wing, with the impact that its top rate increased by 11km/h and it also had enhanced roll and scuba diving speed, albeit on price of increased fuel usage. In reality, this plus utilizing the Model 32's smaller gas tank implied its range was some 1,000km shorter. The Model 32 made its maiden trip on July 15th 1941, and first saw solution using the second Fighter Group in Rabaul, the Philippines. All told, 343 Model 32 aircraft had been manufactured, several therefore reduced in component due to the range limitations associated with aircraft.
