The Mitsubishi A6M3/3a Model 22 brought practical tweaks to the Zero series, restoring full-length wings and adding extra fuel capacity to boost operational range. Entering service in 1943, it featured across many Pacific skirmishes.
Tamiya's 1/72 representation recreates the Model 22s balanced lines. Completed length is 126mm with a wingspan of 167mm, reflecting the aircrafts more symmetrical wing shape compared with earlier variants.
This kit is well suited to collectors and display builders who value correct proportions and fine surface detail. It offers a rewarding build for those who enjoy careful assembly, paintwork and decal placement.
