Built for hobby experimenters and compact RC builds, this gearbox delivers selectable low-speed gearing in a small package. The Tamiya 70189 Mini Motor Low Speed Gearbox is a handy component when you need controlled speed and visible mechanics.
The supplied type 030 motor keeps power consumption low while limiting electrical interference in sensitive setups. The clear housing is useful for inspecting gear engagement and demonstrating how changes in gear selection affect output.
Available ratios are 71.4:1, 149.9:1, 314.9:1, and 661.2:1, selectable by moving the final gear position. A 3mm hex shaft and several mounting holes allow easy connection to other Tamiya parts and small drive systems.
With approximate dimensions of 20mm width, 24mm height and 30mm length, the gearbox fits into tight spaces such as the 1/35 Panzerkampfwagen II Ausf. A/B/C (Sd.Kfz.121) and similar-scale projects, making it versatile for trials and small-scale RC conversions.
