The Tamiya Low-Profile Ball Casters bring compact, low-clearance support to small-scale RC models and hobby contraptions. They help preserve a low centre of gravity while providing consistent rolling action for delicate or lightweight projects.

Design highlights and fitment

Lower than the earlier Tamiya 70144 version, this Tamiya 70246 set uses a four-hook holder to retain a 13/32 inch (approx 10.3mm) grey steel ball that rolls smoothly across most surfaces. The POM plastic pieces minimise drag to keep motion efficient.

Fast assembly and versatile mounting

Mount on a universal plate with a single screw or secure temporarily with double-sided tape. The kit contains 5mm spacers, L-shaped brackets and the required screws and nuts so you can fit the casters without sourcing extra parts.
