Routine care for your Tamiya Spray-Work airbrush

Maintain reliable spray performance using the Tamiya 74548 Spray Work Air Brush Cleaning Set. The kit provides key maintenance items to clear paint build-up, protect seals and preserve smooth trigger action for controlled painting.

Brushes for nozzle and cup cleaning

The kit contains two brushes to cover typical cleaning chores. An ultra-fine brush with PBT bristles on a stainless steel wire stem is ideal for nozzle internals. The standard brush includes a stainless steel stem with a comfortable grip to clean the paint cup and larger cavities efficiently.

Sealant plus high-viscosity grease

This set includes a 3 g sealant to reduce air leaks at the nozzle base and a 7 g high-viscosity grease for the trigger button stem. The sealant remains non-solid so it can be cleaned off when needed, and the grease helps maintain consistent trigger movement.

Tool for safe nozzle removal

A dedicated nozzle wrench is supplied to remove the nozzle on Tamiya Spray-Work airbrushes without damaging threads or the nozzle face, simplifying maintenance and part replacement.

Highly recommend seller. A great place to shop from any where in the world.
Yes. Apply a small amount of the 3 g sealant around the nozzle base if you notice air leaks. Keep it minimal so you can still disassemble and clean later.
No. The extra-fine brush uses PBT bristles which are firm enough to remove paint but soft enough to avoid scratching nozzle interiors when used gently.
Use the solvent recommended for the paint type you use. Rinse brushes and parts with the appropriate cleaner, then dry thoroughly before reassembly. Avoid harsh chemicals that attack seals.
