The Tamiya 81009 Acrylic X-9 Brown is supplied in a 23ml bottle of water-soluble acrylic resin, aimed at model builders who need a dependable brown tone. It applies well with a brush or via airbrush and is compatible with styrol resins, Styrofoam, wood and most model plastics for an even finish.

Preparation and Thinning Advice

Expect good coverage and smooth flow for both detail work and larger panels. The paint is easy to blend for highlights and depth. For airbrushing, thin with official Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077 to avoid clogging and to improve spray pattern.
