XF-21 Sky Acrylic for Kit and Figure Work

The Tamiya 81321 XF-21 Sky is supplied in a 23ml bottle of water-soluble acrylic, made for hobby use across multiple materials. It performs well on styrol resins, Styrofoam, timber and typical model plastics, and can be applied by brush or airbrush.

Preparing and Using the Paint

Good coverage and smooth flow make XF-21 Sky suitable for base coats and subtle shading. For spray work, thin with recommended Tamiya thinners 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520 or 87077 for consistent atomisation.

Finish Quality and Surface Bonding

This XF-21 formulation gives dependable adhesion and a stable finish that accepts washes and light weathering without softening the underlying layers.
