Tamiya 81707 XF-7 Flat Red is supplied in a 10ml bottle and is based on water-soluble acrylic resins. It is formulated for both brushing and spraying, and bonds well to styrol resins, Styrofoam, wood and common model plastics, producing a smooth matt appearance.

Preparation and thinning guidance

For smooth airbrush application dilute with Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520 or 87077. Proper thinning makes spraying easier and helps avoid uneven coats. The paint also responds well to careful mixing for custom tones.

Where XF-7 performs best

Choose XF-7 Flat Red for subdued red areas on model cars, aircraft insignia or small parts where a non-reflective finish is preferred. Its flat tone helps maintain scale realism on finished kits.
