Practical application advice

XF-59 Desert Yellow offers good flow and blending for weathering and panel work. For smooth airbrush performance, use recommended Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520 or 87077 and adjust dilution to suit your gun and nozzle size.

Is this suitable for masking and detail work?

Yes. With thin, even coats XF-59 works well with masking. Use low-tack tape and allow paint to fully cure before removing masks.
