Matte-Finish Acrylic for Model Builders

Tamiya XF-89 Dark Green 2 is supplied in a 10ml bottle and is formulated for versatile use on scale kits. Its water soluble acrylic resin allows both brushing and airbrushing on styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood and other model plastics while providing consistent flat coverage.

Compatible Surfaces

The formulation spreads evenly and can be blended to achieve the desired tone. While still wet it can be washed away with water for corrections, and the XF flat finish helps reduce glare for realistic results.

Preparing Paint for Spraying and Brushing

For airbrushing thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner; Tamiya Lacquer Thinner will speed drying and increase hardness if required. For cleaner brush finishes, add Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) to reduce brush strokes and improve leveling.
