Sturdy F103 Chassis and Dynamics

This kit uses a direct drive 2WD chassis with a semi-double deck construction to balance weight and stiffness. The upper 1.5mm FRP plate pairs with a 2.5mm lower plate to reduce flex during aggressive runs. The kingpin plus coil spring front arrangement controls four independent front wheels via a single servo, while the rear T-bar, coil spring and friction plate help keep the rear predictable under power.

Authentic Styling and Drive Components

Tamiya has replicated the P34 body in polycarbonate and included decal options representing cars run by Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler. Both front and rear tyres use sponge compounds for good grip on flat tracks, and the ball differential inside the spur gear gives a limited slip action that smooths corner exits.
