The Tamiya 86036 PS-36 translucent silver spray is formulated for polycarbonate RC bodies, producing a smooth translucent metallic appearance when sprayed correctly. A 100ml can gives enough product for several light coats on most shells.

Spray Setup and Distance Guidance

Maintain an approximate 30cm gap between nozzle and surface and use short, overlapping passes to build up colour gradually. Allow the first coat to dry before adding subsequent layers to prevent sagging. Use Tamiya bottle colours to pick out trim and small accents after main painting.

Resistance and Suitable Models

This paint is made to resist fuels and oils you commonly encounter in on-road and off-road RC use, helping finishes survive during running. It is best suited to polycarbonate bodies used on a wide range of electric and nitro models.
