Vibrant Flake Coat for RC Shells

The Tamiya PS-53 Lame Flake Spray is aimed at painting polycarbonate RC bodies with a metallic flake finish. The 100ml can offers a hard-wearing, bright appearance that copes well with racing and everyday use.

Spray Distance and Technique

Apply from inside the shell at roughly 30cm to reduce runs and get even application. Build the finish with light, overlapping passes and allow the previous coat to set before adding another for stronger sparkle.

Compatibility Notes

Tamiya PS-53 Lame Flake Spray resists oils and common fuels, so it works for both electric and fuel powered cars. For detailed work, paint small areas first using Tamiya bottle paints made for lexan, then finish with the spray.
