Tamiya 87115 Pavement Effect Gray is formulated to reproduce realistic road and stone textures on scale models. The 100ml water-based formulation builds body and grain for convincing groundwork without strong solvent odors.

Applying the Product Correctly

The thick, paste-like formula contains ceramic particles that form a granular finish. Apply with a spatula or an old brush to shape texture; new bristles can be damaged by the heavy paste. Avoid airbrushing this paint.

Enhancing Texture with Paint Techniques

This texture paint is compatible with other Tamiya acrylics for tinting and variation. After the textured layer dries, use enamel washes and dry brushing to pick out detail and create realistic wear.
