AMG-Tuned Super Mercedes

During the 1989 Geneva engine Show, the 500SL had been unveiled as Mercedes' top-of-the-line covertible sports vehicle. While quite potent in stock type, AMG took the car even further with unique adjustments like increasing the motor displacement from 5 liters to 6 liters for a 381hp output. Aerodynamic improvements such as front bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler, and a strengthened suspension system offered the automobile a customized feel.
