Tamiya 94697 HG Hard FRP Wide Plate R Track-Tuned Upgrade

The Tamiya 94697 HG Hard FRP Wide Plate R is intended as a track-focused upgrade for Mini 4WD models. Built from hard FRP with a 25% carbon fiber layer, the plate increases front-to-rear rigidity while keeping a lightweight profile. Its 3mm construction aims to balance strength and a low centre of gravity for racing.

Which Chassis Work

This plate integrates with a variety of chassis types, including MS chassis when paired with bumperless T-03 units and T-01 units with rear stays removed. It is also suitable for VS, X and TZ-X chassis. It will not fit the Mini 4WD PRO body Nitrage Jr. (Item 18619).

Roller Setup and Width

The Tamiya 94697 supports 9mm, 13mm or 19mm bearing rollers in multiple mounting positions, enabling a tuned machine width of around 104mm, safely under the 105mm limit. That allowance helps refine handling and roll characteristics on technical tracks.
