The Tamiya 94870 JR Zenquish VS Chassis kit is released as a limited edition for enthusiasts who value both period styling and practical race parts. The VS chassis platform brings a stiff, reliable base and the model retains the Zenquish heritage from its 1990s origins.

Materials and External Features

Manufactured from durable ABS, the VS chassis is designed to handle the rigours of racing. The body replicates Item 15088 Zenquish and the A-parts are moulded in Light Gun Metal ABS for a bold finish. FRP under-guards at the front and on the chassis add structural support and improve impact resistance.

Compatibility and Race Setup

Included FRP components such as the Multi Roller Setting Stay and Rear Roller Stay are compatible with Super X parts, giving extra freedom for setup changes. The kit uses large diameter carbon reinforced narrow wheels with arched tyres for improved track contact. It also includes low friction rollers in 13mm and 19mm, aluminium collars and stainless screws for accurate adjustments. Please note a Type 130 motor is necessary and not supplied.
