The Tamiya 94983 Sunny-Shuttle Premium updates a classic from the Truckin' Mini 4WD range, now presented on the AR chassis. First seen between 1990 and 1994, this limited run channels low-rider truck styling with contemporary aero touches. The AR chassis contributes design features aimed at improving airflow and handling, making the kit useful for shelf display or competitive track use.
The body is moulded in striking yellow ABS plastic with a semi-transparent smoke-coloured windshield for a vintage vibe. It features gold-coloured small-diameter spoke wheels paired with black tyres, plus updated body mount catches and a new decal sheet to finish the look.
Designed with aerodynamic efficiency in mind, the AR chassis helps with speed stability and predictable handling on typical Mini 4WD tracks. A 130 motor is included to deliver reliable performance, and the snap-fit assembly makes the build accessible while leaving scope for further tuning.
