The Tamiya 95155 HG Carbon Rear Brake Stay is aimed at racers and hobbyists seeking a compact performance upgrade. Released as a Japan Cup 2022 limited edition, this 1.5mm carbon stay improves braking behaviour while contributing a race-inspired look. Made from stiff carbon fiber, it is lighter than FRP which helps lower rear-end mass.

Finished with a patterned surface and marked with Japan Cup and Tamiya blue-green logos, the stay is compatible with a broad range of chassis: MA, MS, FM-A, AR, Super-II, Super X, Super XX, Super TZ-X, VZ, and VS. The design includes multiple holes to mount mass dampers and other Grade-Up parts for custom setups.

The brake sponge is not included, but the large pad area allows easy attachment. The contour of the stay reduces contact with rollers for more effective braking, though certain chassis or bodies may need small adjustments to fit perfectly.
