Product Brief - Tamiya 95164 Mach Frame Silver Metallic

The Tamiya 95164 Mach Frame Silver Metallic expands the Mini 4WD range with a model that balances collector styling and track-capable engineering. At 1/32 scale the kit features the FM-A chassis, where a forward motor position supports improved aerodynamics and predictable handling on circuits with elevation changes.

This silver metallic edition is finished with metallic stickers to highlight panel lines and vents. Its bodywork borrows forms from high-speed motorcycles and aircraft to emphasise low-drag styling. The chassis is made from metallic gray ABS and includes low-friction parts along with a front skid bar to aid smooth running and maintenance access.

White A-spoke wheels are fitted with super hard low-profile tyres to keep the car stable through corners on Mini 4WD tracks. The kit comes with a 130-size motor and a 3.5:1 gear pairing; two AA batteries are needed to power the model on the track.

I have been purchasing Tamiya products with Rcjaz for a couple of months now, selection is awesome and service is quick and reliable, considering I leave half way around the world.
Although Mini 4WD have limited suspension, lowering tyre pressure is not applicable; instead, focus on proper roller placement and keeping the chassis level to reduce lift on banked turns.
The supplied 130 motor and 3.5:1 gearing provide a reliable balance of torque and top speed for club-level events, though racers often experiment with higher RPM motors and alternate gear ratios for specific tracks.
After running, clean the chassis and axles of dust, check tyre wear, reapply light lubrication to moving parts and tighten any screws to keep consistent lap times.
