The Tamiya 95176 Jr Torque-Tuned Motor J-Cup 2025 is a commemorative torque-oriented motor intended to boost Mini 4WD acceleration on demanding track layouts. The silver label denotes its special edition status, aimed at racers wanting firmer launches and reduced speed bleed on corners and inclines.
The motor is compatible with most Mini 4WD models but is not compatible with the Mini 4WD PRO series. It uses metal brushes to optimise electrical flow for steadier power delivery. Recommended operating voltage is 2.4 to 3.0 volts, with torque in the 1.6 to 2.0 mN-m range under suggested load conditions and no-load rpm approximately 12,300 to 14,700.
Ideal for technical circuit racing where precise throttle response matters. Installation requires a separate 8T pinion gear so you can tailor gearing for each track. The orange endbell and the silver and blue-green label also make it easy to spot in a spares tray.
