This special edition celebrates the Japan Cup 2025 with a distinctive colour scheme and metallic sticker set. The compact VZ chassis gives the Jr Cross Spear 01 a lightweight layout that suits both showcase displays and club-level racing.

Durability and drivetrain details

The VZ chassis incorporates reinforced areas such as the bumper and rear stay base to cope with racing loads. Low friction 620 plastic bearings in POM lower drivetrain resistance, and the blue ABS chassis provides sturdy construction. The chassis comes with a fixed 3.5:1 gear ratio, allowing hobbyists to pursue further tuning options.

Appearance and running gear

Body and truss sections use white ABS for a crisp finish. Fluorescent orange polypropylene 5-spoke wheels are fitted with black super-hard small diameter low-profile tyres. The tyres feature the Japan Cup 2025 logo printed in white on the sidewalls for an authentic look.

Assembly, power and fitment

The kit is supplied with a Type 130 motor and requires two AA batteries which are not included. With overall measurements of 158mm length, 98mm width and 35mm height, the model conforms to standard Mini 4WD track dimensions.
