The Tamiya 95285 HG Carbon Stay Wide Rear Sliding Damper is a race-oriented part aimed at improving Mini 4WD handling. Fabricated from 2mm carbon fibre, it offers reduced mass versus aluminium while maintaining the stiffness needed for controlled cornering and high speed sections.

How It Fits and Works

Designed to replace aluminium roller stays in the Tamiya Rear Sliding Damper Set (Item 15467), this carbon stay is suited to MA and AR chassis layouts. The carbon construction cuts weight by about 40% and, together with the sliding damper, helps absorb collision energy when the car hits track fences, limiting shock transfer to critical chassis areas.

Fitting Guide

The Tamiya 95285 ships with all required screws and washers so you can fit it directly to the chassis or use it with Item 15467. The included instructions show two installation examples to make setup straightforward for racers at any skill level.
