Meet the Rayvolf Yellow Special

The Tamiya 95338 Rayvolf Yellow Special combines a race-oriented outer shell with the stable MA chassis platform. It suits model racers who enjoy setup work and incremental upgrades to squeeze out performance.

Sleek Shell and Flow

The vibrant yellow body is formed to reduce drag and manage airflow, giving a clean shape that helps keep the car planted at speed. The body styling is both eye-catching and functional.

MA Chassis Breakdown

The MA chassis features a monocoque style that boosts torsional stiffness and keeps the centre of mass low. It is compatible with double shaft motors and encourages precise handling through corners.

Upgrade Pathways

Consider fitting high-performance motors, upgraded tyres and optimised gearing to tailor the Rayvolf to your track. Small weight placement changes and wheel tweaks also refine behaviour under load.

This is my 3rd and largest order from RC Jaz so far and I have to say I've been very impressed with this store. Everything arrived in perfect shape and order, very well packaged and delivered quickly bearing in mind this had to come from the other sid
Raise the gear ratio step by step and monitor motor temperature. Pair speed increases with better ventilation and check bearings and wheel friction to keep reliability high.
Small toe and camber adjustments, plus ensuring wheels spin freely on their axles, will aid cornering. Test one change at a time to judge impact on lap times.
Light trimming to reduce weight or clearance issues can help, but avoid over-cutting structural areas. Keep the body mount points solid to maintain chassis integrity.
On short, technical courses use lower final ratios to enhance acceleration out of corners. Balance the change with motor capability to prevent overheating.
