Tamiya 95485 Festa Jaune L Green Special - Tunable Mini 4WD Platform

The Tamiya 95485 Festa Jaune L Green Special merges a lightweight polycarbonate shell with the adaptable MS chassis, creating a platform that responds well to setup changes and component upgrades. It works well for weekend track sessions and practice laps.

MS Chassis: Setup and Stability

Featuring a direct drive double-shaft motor system, the MS chassis breaks into nose, centre, and tail modules for easy access during tuning. Its 80mm wheelbase gives a balanced mix of agility and stability for quick cornering.

Finish Options and Practical Details

The 0.4mm clear body keeps mass low and sits closer to the chassis for improved handling. Pre-cut arches reduce finish time, and the included clear stickers in blue and fluorescent green offer an eye-catching scheme. The kit ships with black fin type wheels and hard gray low-profile tyres to complement the design.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Length: 153mm
  • Width: 89mm
  • Height: 45mm
  • Material: Polycarbonate body, ABS chassis
  • Motor: Type 130 double-shaft
  • Gear Ratio: 3.5:1
The hard low-profile tyres included are a good starting point. If you need more grip, try softer compound tyres or experiment with different wheel widths to alter traction.
The chassis accepts standard Mini 4WD Type 130 double-shaft motors and many Grade-Up Parts, allowing you to test higher speed or torque options while watching gear mesh and heat.
Keep heavier components low and central where possible, trim nonessential plastic, and use small ballast only when needed to balance corner entry and exit behaviour.
Check wheel runout, clean gear teeth, ensure motor brushes are free of debris, and confirm all screws are firm but not over-tightened to maintain consistent performance.
