The Tamiya 95524 Razorback Clear Violet Special adapts a contest-winning concept into a compact kit aimed at club and casual racers. The FM-A chassis, with its front motor layout, favours aerodynamic efficiency and places weight forward for improved performance over rises and drops.

Exterior and Mechanical Details

This special model uses a Clear Violet ABS body fitted to a Silver ABS FM-A chassis. Violet POM components cut friction where it counts, and the gold 6-spoke wheels with black rally block tyres deliver a balanced combination of grip and responsiveness. Clear decals are included for a clean finish.

Performance Setup and Upgrade Paths

Out of the box the kit includes a Type 130 motor and a 4.2:1 gear ratio, giving a solid baseline for tuning. The chassis design allows quick motor access for swaps, and the platform accepts a wide range of Grade-Up Parts sold separately to refine speed and handling.
