AR Chassis Brake Set Tamiya 95535 in Fluorescent Yellow

The Tamiya 95535 Brake Set upgrades AR Chassis Mini 4WD builds with a fluorescent yellow brake plate and a full selection of tuning parts. Adapters, multiple brake sponges and three spacer sizes let you adjust the braking force and timing to suit different track layouts. The brake plate's skid geometry helps reduce unwanted speed loss on grassy or bumpy sections.

The package includes one 90mm brake plate, two AR adapters and four sponges of varying friction. Spacers in three sizes are provided so you can dial in contact pressure and travel. This brake kit fits AR, MA and Super-II chassis; MS and FM-A chassis can be adapted using Item 15430.

Does it come with all necessary adapters?

The set includes two AR Chassis adapters for direct fit to AR models. For other chassis types, refer to Item 15430 for additional adaptation parts.

Which sponge should I try first?

Begin with a medium-friction sponge to establish a baseline. From there, move to lower friction for smoother roll or higher friction for stronger deceleration depending on the track.

Are there setup checks after installation?

After mounting, verify there is no binding and that the brake plate clears the body and wheels. Run a few laps and tweak spacer size and sponge choice until braking feels consistent across laps.
