Front Bulkhead Details

This aftermarket aluminium bulkhead is manufactured as a replacement for the Tamiya CC01 platform and carries the model number CC008. It is supplied as one unit for installation at the CC01 front body and bumper mounting position.

The piece replaces the plastic front bulkhead with an aluminium option that supports the body and bumper mounting points while providing a firmer attachment. It is commonly used when tuning front-end behaviour or when a more durable mounting point is desired.

Fitment notes: installs into the standard front bulkhead location on CC01 chassis and uses the factory attachment points. Ensure correct alignment and avoid excessive torque on screws to prevent damage to threads or the alloy component.

This item is compatible with

  • TAMIYA CC01
No chassis modification is normally required; the part uses the existing front bulkhead mounting points on the CC01 chassis.
Standard front bulkhead screws and spacers are typically reused. Match screw lengths to the new stack height and hand-tighten carefully before final torque.
Aluminium alloys resist rust but inspect for galvanic corrosion when dissimilar metals are used. Clean contact areas and use anti-seize or light grease on steel fasteners if storing the model long term.
