This single-piece spring steel servo tie rod suits Tamiya CC-01 chassis builds and is intended to replace softer factory links, cutting flex and tightening the connection between the servo horn and steering knuckle.
To fit, remove the old tie rod from both the servo horn and steering arm, screw the new rod into the existing ball cup or rod end, and check thread engagement and free travel through the steering arc. If you notice binding at full lock, make small position adjustments or trim interfering parts, then re-check for end play after a short test run.
In set-up work, a spring steel tie rod reduces unwanted compliance while avoiding aggressive overall stiffness. Use it for tuning steering return and improving control during slow-speed and scale driving rather than as a structural chassis upgrade.
