Front shock tower overview

This aluminum front shock tower is made for the TAMIYA Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher platforms and carries the JR-TFD06-RD identifier. Finished in red anodizing, it acts as a straightforward replacement for the factory front shock mount area.

Installation uses the chassis' existing front tower points and standard screw positions; reuse the original fasteners unless the seller includes replacements. The component locates shock tops, maintains suspension geometry, and serves as a stable anchor for front-end tuning adjustments.

After installing, recheck ride height and shock preload, and ensure shock shafts and posts are correctly aligned before final torque to avoid binding. Intended for scale RC use only.
