This aluminium hi-torque servo saver serves as an RC-scale upgrade for the Tamiya CW-01 Lunch Box chassis. The unit pairs a 25T aluminium saver body with a steel tie rod to give firmer steering link behaviour while still preventing direct shock transfer into the servo gears.

Fitting is aimed at CW-01 rigs using a 25T servo spline: install the saver between the servo horn and steering linkage, attach the tie rod to the steering arm, and ensure proper spline engagement before you finish tightening. Use moderate thread torque and verify free steering travel to prevent any binding on full lock.

For tuning use, the saver reduces felt play at the wheel and sharpens steering feel when combined with stronger servos, without altering the servo output itself. Check the saver pivot and tie rod threads periodically to maintain dependable steering response.
