Overview and intent

This aluminium differential shaft is an RC hop-up made for compatibility with the DB-01 chassis. Marketed as part DB01-05/HD, the shaft provides a beefed-up replacement for stock shafts to better resist drivetrain strain during demanding driving and setup changes.

Fit and compatibility: built for DB-01 revisions that accept the DB-01 differential shaft, it replaces the original shaft at the same location and preserves the intended differential function while adding robustness.

Installation and tuning role: installing the shaft follows standard procedures - remove the differential cover, extract the old shaft and fit the new aluminium shaft, checking alignment and clearances. As an upgrade it stiffens the differential assembly and helps keep gear and suspension geometry stable under higher loads, which can assist consistent acceleration and corner exits.

Materials and upkeep: aluminium construction improves wear resistance over softer parts; regular inspection and light lubrication at splines and contact areas will help maintain longevity. Use normal RC maintenance routines when servicing the diff.
