DT-03 Front Steering C Hub — Aluminum Option

This is an aluminum C hub made for use with TAMIYA DT-03 chassis assemblies, replacing the factory plastic C hub found at the front steering knuckle. The part is finished in anodized green and intended as a direct metal substitute for the original component.

Compatibility is limited to DT-03 setups. Installation generally requires removing the original C hub from the steering knuckle and fitting the new aluminum unit using the existing screws, then confirming fit and clearance prior to final tightening. Because the item is metal, check adjacent suspension and steering parts to ensure there is no unintended contact.

From a setup perspective, an aluminum C hub creates a firmer mounting point for the steering knuckle, which can influence steering response and suspension behaviour. When converting to aluminum, inspect wheel hexes, steering linkage, and bearings to maintain proper geometry and avoid binding.
