Tuning-focused rear shock for DT-04

Made from 6061-T6 alloy, this oil-filled rear shock set is an aftermarket replacement for the TAMIYA DT-04 RC FIGHTER NXGEN rear suspension. The sealed oil construction aims to lower internal friction and provide steadier rear behaviour during cornering and acceleration.

Notable specifications supplied with the kit include a 95mm centre distance, a stiffer 3.5mm shock shaft, and both black and silver spring options for different rates. The damping medium is 500cSt silicone oil and the shock pin is hardened to resist wear; the combination supports hobbyist tuning where consistent rear damping is required.

Fitment guidance: the shocks replace DT-04 rear units when installed in the rear shock positions using compatible mounts and hardware. The package contains the matching screws and springs, and you can tune ride height and initial spring rate via external preload and end-stop adjustments.
