70mm front adjustable aluminium shock

An aftermarket front shock assembly for the TAMIYA DT-04 RC FIGHTER NXGEN chassis, built from 6061-T6 aluminium bodies. Each damper is filled with 500cSt silicon oil and fitted with a sealed cap to reduce leakage. The shock shaft diameter is increased to 3.5mm and the mounting pin is hardened to improve resistance to wear during repeated impacts.

Performance roles: the dampers cut internal friction, help manage dynamic loads at the front suspension and provide a taller, adjustable unit for precise ride-height and spring tuning. The black spring mirrors original fitment while the silver 1.1mm wire spring supplied gives a slightly firmer option for quicker response.

Fitting tips: these are front-specific shocks with a 70mm centre distance and they use the same attachment points as the DT-04 front shock area. Installation uses the included hardware to swap out stock dampers; check eyelet spacing and tighten the provided grade 12.9 screws to a secure setting.
