Designed for the TAMIYA F103RM on-road layout, this 64-pitch spur ring is moulded from POM to give consistent tooth geometry for replacement and tuning use. It suits 1/10 on-road gearboxes where 64-pitch engagement is required.
The ring provides the mating surface for the motor pinion, maintaining the specified 64-pitch mesh. POM is selected for its low sliding resistance and steady wear characteristics, which help keep engagement predictable across typical driving conditions.
Fitment notes: set mesh using the usual shimming method on the F103RM, check backlash and manually turn the drivetrain to confirm smooth teeth contact before powering the car. Use this as a spare or tuning option to preserve correct gear engagement.
