Performance front upright for tuning setups

This red-anodized aluminum upright fits TAMIYA Hornet, Grasshopper, Grasshopper II, Fast Attack Vehicle, Wild One, F104 and F103 chassis as a direct replacement for the stock front steering knuckle. It retains factory mounting points while giving a stiffer metal interface in place of the original plastic part.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original upright, transfer any hinge pins or bushings required, and install the replacement at the factory mounting points. The part is designed to fit without chassis modification for the specified models, but confirm steering-link clearance during assembly.

For setup tuning the aluminum upright lowers knuckle flex and can yield quicker steering feedback; integrate it into a balanced package with tuned shocks, tire choice and alignment to refine handling on sealed or compacted surfaces.
