Aluminium ball differential designed for TAMIYA chassis

This aluminium ball differential system is a scale RC driveline upgrade compatible with TAMIYA FF02, M03, M03L, M03M, M04L and M04M chassis variants. It carries a light blue anodised aluminium finish and is intended to replace standard plastic or steel diff housings where ball differentials are used.

Functionally, the unit offers a precision seating surface for the diff balls and allows differential behaviour to be adjusted through shims and conventional clutching techniques used on TAMIYA ball diffs. The design integrates with the original differential assembly and does not require changes to motor, gearbox or electronics.

Fitment notes: verify correct alignment with factory diff cups and set spur gear mesh accurately, use suitable thread lock on metal fasteners where needed, and avoid over-tightening to prevent bearing preload. Routine care should include cleaning gear teeth and bearings and inspecting ball and race surfaces for wear.
