This is an aluminum front gearbox lower half designed for RC TAMIYA TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis, supplied with a light blue anodized finish. Serving as a drop-in replacement for the original plastic lower shell, the aluminium body increases structural rigidity and provides a straightforward drivetrain upgrade for tuning and track conditions.

Fitting is a direct swap on the specified TAMIYA chassis models and requires simple disassembly of the front gear assembly. Use correct hex tools and retain the original gear spacing and bearing positions when installing the aluminum lower case. This product is intended for model-scale RC applications only.

When setting up the model the aluminium lower half can help prevent flex during heavy loads and offers a more stable mounting base for the front drivetrain, making gear mesh and suspension adjustments less variable without changing gear ratios or motor hardware.
