This aluminium front stabilizer holder is manufactured to replace the original plastic bracket on TAMIYA Thunder Dragon and Thunder Shot, giving a stronger, more durable mounting point for the front stabilizer bar. The firmer anchor reduces unwanted movement and supports more consistent front-end behavior under stress.
Installation is simple using the existing front bulkhead mounting points and stabilizer rod ends. Remove the factory plastic holder, position the JR-TSD01-RD holder in the factory locations, and secure using the original screws. Verify there is sufficient clearance around suspension arms and steering linkages while moving through full travel.
The stiffer aluminium mount makes stabilizer setting changes more reliable and repeatable, which is particularly beneficial after upgrading shocks or steering parts that increase chassis loads.
Routine care: inspect mounting screws for correct torque and examine contact surfaces for wear. While aluminium resists deformation, it can transfer additional stresses to nearby plastic pieces, so check surrounding parts after fitting.
