Specifically made for Tamiya GB-01 and GB-02 chassis, this steering saver uses a bearing-mounted aluminium body finished in light-blue anodising to refine steering action. It replaces the OEM plastic saver to provide a metalised joint in the steering linkage while leaving servo mounting and horn geometry unchanged.
Fitment is simple: remove the factory saver from the steering link, mount the alloy saver to the existing points, and ensure the bearing aligns with the linkage to reduce play. No chassis or servo mounting changes are necessary for compatible GB-01 and GB-02 layouts.
When tuning, the alloy saver gives a stiffer connection between the servo and steering links, helping to minimise slop and improving consistency under heavy cornering. It suits on-road and track-focused setups where sharper steering feedback is desired.
