Upgrade front tower for GF-01

This aluminium front shock tower is an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya GF-01 chassis, supplied under model GF028. It replaces the softer plastic tower to present a firmer anchor for front shocks and reduce unwanted movement at the top mounts.

The primary benefit is improved suspension control: a stiffer top mount reduces flex and stabilises the shock geometry during dynamic loads, which can deliver a more predictable front end on uneven tracks and during tight turns. It is useful when tuning spring rates, damper settings and link geometry on GF-01 builds.

Fitting is simple for anyone used to GF-01 servicing: remove the OEM tower, transfer necessary screws and shock components, and fasten this tower to the existing mounting points. Re-check shock travel and wheel alignment after installation and make small adjustments to preload or mounting location to dial in handling.
